High School Readiness
St. Genevieve Elementary School prepares students to excel in high school, college and beyond. Our curriculum provides students with a well-rounded education that solidifies the fundamentals in science, math and the humanities while exposing them to music, art and a variety of electives.
In addition to academics, teachers help develop students’ soft skills such as organization, time management and conflict resolution. These important skills provide students with a strong sense of self, the confidence to ask questions and seek help when needed as well as effectively balance their time between academics, athletics and extracurricular activities.
Middle School Transition
Qualifying students in Eighth Grade are permitted to enroll in St. Genevieve High School Algebra. This rigorous course prepares students to place into our Math Academy and allows students to earn 10 units of credit on their high school transcript while in middle school.
Students in middle school also have the opportunity to choose from a variety of electives to strengthen specific skills and/or pursue their interests. Past electives have included: Coding, Chinese, Spanish, Leadership, Creative Writing, and Advanced Fine Arts. These introductory classes give students exposure and subject framework along with a taste of the high school experience.
